CHAPTER 5 CLEANING THE UNIT
2. Replacing Hot Melt Glue
When the color of the hot melt glue inside the tank has changed, replace it following the procedures
below.
● When you handle the hot melt glue, make sure that you wear protection gloves, long-
sleeved clothes, eye protectors to prevent burn injuries.
● Read Chapter 1 "Before Operation" "7. Precautions on Hot Melt Glue" (
p.1-17) for
details before you change the hot melt glue.

The glue discharge mode icon will blink
on the main menu screen to show that the
machine is currently in the glue discharge
mode.
The glue discharge mode prevents the temperature inside the tank from going up. Using
the mode will prevent a malfunction of the machine caused by dry boiling of the tank.
