CHAPTER 4 FINE-ADJUSTMENT AND OPTION SETTING
1-5. Setting the Glue Cutting Position
A spine glue cutting position is adjusted automatically according to the book block length. However if
you want to change the position, you can adjust the starting and ending points of spine glue.
Glue Cutting

Press the glue cutting position select
button.
The screen for adjusting the glue cutting
position will appear.

Press or to change the glue
cutting position (starting point).
Each time you press the button, the glue
cutting position will change by 0.5 mm (0.02
inch).
Fine-adjustment range: ±50.0 mm (1.97 inches)

Press or to change the glue
cutting position (ending point).
Each time you press the button, the glue
cutting position will change by 0.5 mm (0.02
inch).
Fine-adjustment range: ±50.0 mm (1.97 inches)

● When the fine-adjustment value is "0.0," glue will run off the edge (starting point)
because the wiper does not move and the glue cutting position is not adjusted.
● If you cannot adjust the glue cutting position as desired even after selecting the
maximum value, contact your dealer.

the screen used in step 1.
