2-3. Glue Problem
Symptom Cause Solution
Glue is not applied to
the spine.
There is not enough hot melt glue in the
glue tank.
Add hot melt glue. ( p.2-3)
The glue temperature is too high. Change the temperature of the glue tank
according to the specification of the hot
melt glue you are using. ( p.4-18)
The spine meter roller is not in the
appropriate position.
Adjust the position of the spine meter
roller. ( p.4-10)
The No.1 and No.2 glue drum meter
adjustments are not adjusted properly.
Adjust the No.1 and No.2 glue drum

The book block was not placed in the
clamp properly.
Place the book block in the clamp
