CHAPTER 4 FINE-ADJUSTMENT AND OPTION SETTING
Increment change button:
You can select the increment from 0.1
mm/0.5 mm/1.0 mm (0.004 inch/0.02
inch/0.04 inch).
: 0.1 mm (0.004 inch)
: 0.5 mm (0.02 inch)
: 1.0 mm (0.04 inch)
Guide adjustment switch A
Guide adjustment switch B
You can fine adjust the paper feed guides
using the guide adjustment switches above
the paper feed tray.
Moving the guide adjustment switch A to the
left will move the paper feed guides closer
to each other. Moving the guide adjustment
switch A to the right will move the paper
feed guides farther from each other.
Moving the guide adjustment switch B to
the left will move the paper feed guides
to the operator's side. Moving the guide
adjustment switch B to the right will move
the paper feed guides to the non-operator's
side.
The increment of the guide adjustment
switches A and B varies depending on how
long you keep pressing the switch.
Press the switch:
0.1 mm (0.004 inch)
Keep pressing the switch:
1.0 mm (0.04 inch)
When you continue to press the switch, the
paper feed guides will keep moving by
1.0 mm (0.04 inch).
When there is a cover on the nipping
station, the nipper guide will move.

Press the return button to return to
the screen used in step 1.
You can fine adjust the paper feed guide with the main cover open. After completing
the fine-adjustment, make sure that you close the cover.
