Windows update automatically executed by the PC.
Reference)
To prohibit the update procedure in the PC, open the Control panel, and in
“Automatic updates”, set “Prohibit automatic updates”.
8.1.2 IP Filter
This setting should be implemented by the administrator. The outline of the
procedure will be described here.
8.1.2.1 IP filter settings
1. DMZ (DeMilitarized Zone)
In general, if externally disclosed services such as the Web, E-mails, or DNS are
located within the network, it would enable external intrusions to be made and
therefore invasions will be made to the internal network. In order to prevent from
having such intrusions, an intermediate security area between the external area and
the internal area: DMZ is to be established, and the Firewall between the DNS and
the LAN will also help to prevent from having the damage spread.
As for the setting for DMZ, place a tick for “Use”, and enter the IP address for the
server which is to be disclosed in the Address field. The packets received from the
external area will be delivered to the DNZ with the IP address specified in the
Address field.
