5.7 Configuring Redundant Recording and
Capture
Purpose:
The record files and captured pictures are stored not only in the R/W (read/write) HDD but also in the redundant
HDD when the Redundant Record/Capture function is enabled, thus enhancing the data safety and reliability
effectively.
The storage mode of the HDD needs to be set as Group. For details, see Chapter 11.4 Managing HDD Group.
There should be at least another HDD which is in R/W mode.
Steps:
1. Enter HDD Information interface.
Menu > HDD > General

2. Select the HDD and click to enter the Local HDD Settings interface.
1) Set the HDD property to Redundancy.

2) Click Apply to save the settings.
3) Click OK to back to the upper level menu.
3. Enter the Record setting interface.
Menu > Record > Parameters
