Headlamp escort function
Operation
僅 The headlamps remain on for approx

imately 5 minutes if the vehicle is in
ACC or OFF position with the head

lamps ON.
僅 The headlamps turn off after 15 sec

closed.
僅 To turn the headlamps OFF:
- Press the lock button on the key
twice
- Turn the headlamp switch to OFF
position

僅 The vehicle is in the ON position
僅 The headlamp switch is in the OFF

Traffic change (For Europe)
The distribution of light from low-beam
headlamps is asymmetrical. If you go to
a country with opposite traffic direction,
this asymmetrical distribution will dazzle
drivers in oncoming vehicles. To avoid
dazzling other drivers, ECE regulations
require various technical solutions (e.g.,
automatic change system, adhesive
sheet, downward aim). This vehicle's
headlamps are designed not to dazzle
oncoming drivers. Thus, you need not
change your headlamps when in a coun

try with opposite traffic direction.
