CHANGING HYDRAULIC SYSTEM OIL FILTER
The filter is positioned on the hydraulic system drain outlet and blocks
any metal particles that come off various components due to wear.
The filter can be reached after removing fastening screws (2), and upper
platform (1), using a 17 mm hexagon wrench.
1. Remove filler cap (3), using a 24 mm wrench.
2. Remove screws (4) that secure filter cover (5), remove cartridge
(6), and filter casing (7), using a 13 mm wrench.
3. Carefully clean filter casing (7), making sure that filter gasket (8),
and casing gasket (9) are in perfect condition.
4. Clean magnetic rings (10) that are positioned on the cover to attract
metal particles.
5. Change cartridge (6).
6. Reassemble unit by proceeding in the reverse order, and make sure
that cover (5) and gasket (11) are in perfect condition, and is housed
in the cover seat.
7. Reinstall upper platform (1) and secure it with fastening screws (2).
• Following machine operation, the hydraulic oil is very
hot; let it cool down until it reaches a temperature of 40-
45
°
C (104-113
°
F) before changing it.
• The hydraulic system is pressurized; loosen filling cap
slowly to release the residual pressure.
• Oils, filters, coolant, and the battery are considered spe-
cial waste and must be collected and disposed of
according to all anti-pollution regulations in force.
