17.5 Logging of Raw Obs
Description Logged raw observations are used for
• static and kinematic operations. With these operations, raw data is always post-
processed in the office. Raw data must therefore be logged on both reference
and rover receivers.
• real-time operations
to check the work in the office by post-processing.
OR
to fill in gaps when a real-time position could not be calculated in the field.
This can happen due to problems with the real-time data reception.
Observations must be logged on all receivers which will be used for post-processing.
