Latency [s] = Distance travelled [ft] ÷ Speed [mph] x 0.68
Example
Assuming that the operator was travelling at 12 mph and the distance from the rope
to where the application reacted is 16 ft:
16 ft ÷ 12 mph x 0.68 = 0.9 seconds Latency
