Leica mojo3D, Correction Sources
10 Correction Sources
Overview The mojo3D can be configured to use one of following correction sources for position
data:
Network DGPS - utilises a network of base stations or single base stations to
provide differential GPS correction signals via the cell phone network. Network
DGPS can be configured as a correction source for a standalone mojo3D.
SBAS - Space Based Augmentation Systems, can be configured for standalone
mojo3Ds located in regions that support SBAS.
GL1DE
TM
- can be configured as the only source of position data for a mojo3D,
utilising the antenna/s installed on the vehicle, or as the backup for position data
in the event that the connection to the configured correction source fails.
Network RTK - utilises a network of permanent base stations operated by a
network provider, and therefore there is no need for a local base station.
Network RTK offers very quick convergence times compared to other correction
sources available. The Network RTK base stations are survey quality and mounted
in fixed positions, offering repeatability from year to year. To configure Network
RTK as the correction source for a mojo3D, the mojo3D must be connected to a
mojoXact/mojoXact Plus.
RTK Base Station - utilises a local base station for position data for a mojo3D
that is connected to a mojoXact/mojoXact Plus.
Each correction source and how to configure it is discussed in the sections below.
