6.5 Time
The controller has two mes of day: system me and local me. Both mes are interlinked via
the set me zone.
System me
The system me of the device is the me base for all the me-dependent acons of the
controller. The operang system receives the system me via a maintenance-free clock chip
(CMOS-RTC me).
The system me should correspond to the internaonal UTC world me. The device saves the
system me internally. If the controller is in a deenergized state, the system me is
maintained for approx. 14 days. Aer this me has elapsed, the me will need to be set. A
baery is not required.
The system me can be specied manually or via an NTP server.
System me - Source 40x245B:001
System me - Time 40x245B:002
NTP - Server addresses 40x245A:002 ... 0x245A:005
Local me
The local me is based on the system me. Together with the selected me zone, it is used to
specify the local me. The local me can be used, for instance, to provide current events in
the logbook with me informaon.
Time zone 40x245C:001
Local me 40x245C:002
Set the system me and the required me zone for the site of the controller
during commissioning. The local me will then be calculated automacally.
