8.1.11.5 Error messages

ERROR During the address assignment by means of the ADDR_ASSIGNMENT_EXTERNALLY
or ADDR_ASSIGNMENT_CONFIG_SLAVEORDER service, a slave has been detected
unexpectedly at the given posion.
MMC - address assignment - less slaves
connected (...) than congured (...)
ERROR During the address assignment, less slaves are connected to the physical EtherCAT
bus than specied in the acve conguraon.

ERROR During the address assignment, more slaves are connected to the physical EtherCAT
bus than specied in the acve conguraon.

ERROR In the "mmc-0-conf.csv" conguraon le, the slaves are not specied in ascending
order (starng with ’1001’) or are missing. Or the address space is incomplete.
MMC - duplicated alias address ... at

ERROR While the EtherCAT bus was booted and the slaves were checked, several slaves
were found with idencal "Second Staon Address" (alias address) at the given
posion. The rst slave behind the EtherCAT master has the posion ’1’.
MMC - Error in conguraon les ERROR Errors were detected during the analysis of the "mmc-0-conf.csv" conguraon le
or the "mmc-0-ident.csv" idencaon le. Addional informaon about the error
is displayed in the logbook further above.
MMC - le does not exist ... Info The "mmc-0-conf.csv" conguraon le or the "mmc-0-ident.csv" idencaon le
have not been found in the directory .../USBStorage/IPC/PLC or .../SDCard/IPC/PLC.
As both les do not have to be available in the system (depending on the service),
this merely serves as informaon.
MMC - Internal error (...) ERROR An internal error has occurred. The internal error number is output in the error
message. Please contact Lenze customer service!
MMC - invalid alias address ... at
posion ... (.../.../.../...)
ERROR While the EtherCAT bus was booted and the slaves were checked, a slave with an
invalid or unexpected "Second Staon Address" (alias address) was detected at the
specied posion. The rst slave behind the EtherCAT master has the posion ’1’.
Parameters in parentheses: Vendor-ID/Product Code/Revision/Serial Number.
MMC - invalid conguraon ERROR An acon has been aborted because no valid conguraon is acve.
MMC - mandatory slave ... is not present ERROR While the EtherCAT bus was booted and the slaves were checked, a mandatory
slave was not found at the bus. In the error message, the EtherCAT address or
"Second Staon Address" (alias address) of the slave is given.
MMC - 'Modular Machine Conguraon'
is acve - EtherCAT Master is controlled
by L_ETC_MMCController
Info The L_ETC_MMCController funcon block is used in the PLC program. The behavior
of the EtherCAT master is controlled by the funcon block.
MMC - no conguraon checks Info While the EtherCAT bus is booted, the conguraon is not checked because the
RUN_WITHOUT_CHECK service is acve.
MMC - no valid service acve ERROR When using the L_ETC_MMCController funcon block, there was an aempt made
to boot the EtherCAT bus (xRestart = TRUE). But no service is acve.
MMC - number of device in device tree

WARNING The number of slaves from the "mmc-0-conf.csv" conguraon le is greater than
dened in the »PLC Designer« project. This is a warning because the excessive
devices from the conguraon are simply ignored.

ERROR While the EtherCAT bus was booted with the RUN_OPTIONAL_SLAVES_PROHIBITED
service acve, a "non-mandatory" slave was found.
MMC - parsing error at line ... (...) ERROR Errors were detected in the specied line number during the analysis of the
"mmc-0-conf.csv" conguraon le or the "mmc-0-ident.csv" idencaon le. The
line number starts with ’1’.
MMC - parsing le succeeded ... Info The specied "mmc-0-conf.csv" conguraon le or the "mmc-0-ident.csv"
idencaon le have been analyzed without any errors.

MMC - service stopped Info A service has been stopped by the user via the L_ETC_MMCController funcon
block or via a reset.

ERROR The expected and current parameter contents do not match. An error occurred in
the specied slave while the EtherCAT bus booted and the addional idencaon
parameters from the "mmc-0-ident.csv" conguraon le were checked.
