7.19.3 Checking the functioning of the auxiliary heater
Depending on the equipment, your truck crane has been fitted with an
auxiliary heater.
During the warm summer months, run the auxiliary heating system for
20
to 30 minutes; à Operating manual.
• Check that the system is working properly. Also check the functionality of
the controls.
• If the heating system is not working correctly, report it to
Manitowoc Crane Care or an authorised GROVE dealer or an
authorised specialist workshop.
7.19.4 Lubricating the cab door
Grease, tools
– Grease gun from the tool set.
Lubrication
• Open the doors on the driver and passenger
side.
• Clean the grease nipples (1) on the door
hinges.
• Press grease into the grease nipples.
• Close and open the doors several times –
the
doors should move easily.
• Remove any grease that has escaped.
• If the doors are stiff or do not close properly after lubrication, have them
adjusted by
Manitowoc Crane Care or by an authorised GROVE dealer.
