7.6 Global System Options
PC Programming Procedure
The PC window illustrated below shows how to program the global system options from the PC software.
Once an option has been chosen, press <save> and proceed to the next window.
NOTE: To select different system options, click the drop-down menu for System Options 1, 2 or 3.
MEANING
Programmable Options Explanation
System Options 1
AC Monitoring
No - This function will disable both AC mains fault warning on the keypad and the AC fail report to the Central
Monitoring Station.
Yes - This function will enable both AC mains fault warning on the keypad and the AC fail report to the Central
Monitoring Station.
NOTE: It is possible to program the AC mains fault delay time. See Section 8.12.9.
Battery Monitoring
Yes - This function will enable both the DC low battery fault warning on the keypad and the DC fail report to
the Central Monitoring Station.
No - This function will disable both the DC low battery fault warning on the keypad and the DC fail report to
the Central Monitoring Station.
NVM Reset
Engineer Code & Link - This option allows the engineer to reset the system back to the factory default
settings from engineer’s mode, by shorting the NVM pins and entering BYW from the engineers keypad.
Link Only - This option allows the engineer to reset the system back to the factory default settings by
powering the system up with only the NVM pins shorted together.
