Standby:andchooseatimeinterval.
4.Select Transmit:andchoosethenumberofrotationsyouwanttheRadartoperform.
TheRadarwilltransmitforthespecifiednumberofrotationsandthenwillswitchtoStandbyforthe
specifiedtimeinterval,thesequencewillrepeatuntilTimedTransmitisswitchedoff.
TheTimedtransmitwillreverttoOffafterapowercycle.
Settingopenarrayantennasize
WhenconnectedtoanOpenArrayRadarScanneryoucanconfigurethe Antennasize.Settingthe
antennasizecanhelpwhensettingaParkingoffset.
FromtheRadarapp:
1.Select
Menu>Settings>Transmission.
2.SelectthecorrectsizeforyourRadar’santennafromthe Antennasizeoption.
Bearingalignment
TheRadarbearingalignmentensuresthatRadarobjectsappearatthecorrectbearingrelativeto
yourvessel’sbow.Youshouldcheckthebearingalignmentforanynewinstallation.
Checkingalignment
Withyourvesselunderway:Alignthebowwithastationaryobjectbetween1&2NMaway.
NotethepositionoftheobjectontheRadarscreen.Ifthetargetisnotundertheshipsheading
marker(SHM),thenbearingalignmentadjustmentisrequired.
Adjustingalignment
Adjustthe BearingalignmentsettinguntilthetargetobjectappearsundertheSHM.
Bearingalignmentsettingcanbeaccessedfromthe Installationtab: Menu>Installation>Bearing
alignment.
