The Input/Output Strip in Linked Channels
When channels are linked, a special SUB DISP (“SUB DISPLAY”) button becomes
available at the bottom of the strip. You can control the two channels together or set
each channel’s panning and level individually by clicking SUB DISP so it lights.
AUX and FX Send Controls
The CH VIEW screens contain AUX and FX send controls with which you can send the
signal from any input, track or FX return channel to any of the VS-2000’s two Aux and
six FX busses. To:
• control an Aux or FX send level by the CH PARAMETER SENDS knob (Owner’s
Manual Page 167)—click the SEND Knob button of desired bus so it lights.
•
turn on the send to an Aux or FX bus
—click the bus’s Send Status button so it lights.
•
set an Aux or FX send level
—drag the Aux bus’s Send Level knob up or down as
desired.
• change the pre/post configuration of an Aux or FX bus—click the PRE/POST switch
repeatedly to select PRE or POST.
Drag the fader up or down to set the channel’s output level. The
readout beneath the fader shows the channel’s output level in dB.
When you change an Aux or FX bus’s pre/post setting, you’re changing its setting for
any channel that’s using it, as described on
Owner’s Manu
al Page 151.
When SUB DISP is off,
a single silver balance
knob sets the overall
stereo positioning of
the linked signals. The
fader controls operate
together to set their
combined level.
When SUB DISP is on,
individual PAN knobs
become available, and
each fader controls the
level of its channel.
