3.3 Mounting the PRO device

Prepared for support arm and extension elements (flange mount)
Requirements
● All packaging components and protective films have been removed.
● Siemens flange mount with screws (can be ordered as accessory; see System
components for PRO devices (Page 35))
● The following cables are fed through the stand or the support arm to which the device is
mounted:
– Protective conductor
– Power supply cable
– Data cables, e.g. USB
For even large connectors to fit, run their cables through the stand or support arm first,
for example, DVI or PROFIBUS.
The following description shows an example of how to attach the PRO device to a support
arm system using the optionally available Siemens flange mount. Mounting to a round tube
that fits the opening of the PRO device is performed in a similar fashion.
