3 1) Measure voltage from “Q01-13” terminal to
body ground and “Q01-14” terminal to body
ground, or from “Q01-18” terminal to body
ground and “Q01-19” terminal to body
ground.
With ignition switch ON, are they 1V or less?
Substitute a known-good
SDM and recheck.
Repair short from “ORN/
GRN” or “ORN/BLU” wire
circuit (between forward
sensor and SDM) to
power circuit, or from
“YEL/GRN” or “YEL/BLU”
wire circuit (between for-
ward sensor and SDM) to
power circuit.

NOTE:
Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform following items.
• Reconnect all air bag system components, ensure all components are properly mounted.
• Clear diagnostic trouble codes (Refer to DTC CLEARANCE), if any.
• Repeat AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK to confirm that the trouble has been corrected.
