Managing the Printer
Billing Meter Information
You can view billing meter information at the control panel or from Xerox
®
CentreWare
®
Internet
Services. The billing meter displays the total number of impressions that the printer generated or
printed during its lifetime. You cannot reset the counters. A page is counted as one side of a sheet of
paper. For example, a sheet of paper that is printed on two sides counts as two impressions.
Viewing Billing Information at the Control Panel
1. To access the System Menus, press the Machine Status button on the control panel.
2. Press the up/down arrows to select System Setup and press OK.
3. Press the up/down arrows to select Maintenance and press OK.
4. Press the up/down arrows to select Supplies Life and press OK.
5. Press the up/down arrows to select Total and press OK.
The device displays the total number of impressions.

1. At your computer, open a Web browser. In the address field, type the IP address of the printer,
then press Enter or Return.
2. Select Properties.
3. Select General Setup.
4. Select the Billing & Counters.
5. To view the printer serial number and total impressions, select Billing Information. To update the
page, select the Refresh option.
6. To view the count for each type of device usage, select Usage Counters. To update the page,
select the Refresh option.
Usage Counter Report
The Usage Counter report shows a count for each type of device usage.
To print the Usage Counter report:
1. To access the System Menus, press the Machine Status button on the control panel.
2. Press the up/down arrows to select Information Pages and press OK.
3. Press the up/down arrows to select Usage Counter and press OK.
4. Press the up/down arrows to select Print? Yes and press OK.
The device prints the Usage Counter report.
