Enable Internet Fax
When you purchase the Internet/Server Fax Kit you will receive the information and hardware required to
install this feature. The Kit contains the Subscriber Installation Module (SIM), and self-explanatory
instructions, used to install the Internet Fax option. In addition, before installing the Internet Fax feature,
make sure that the Network Scanning/Email Kit was installed. Follow the instructions supplied with the
Network Scanning/E-mail Kit to install the S2X card in an available PCI slot in the network controller and to
connect the cable between the S2X card and the device's backplane.
Print a Configuration Report to verify that e-mail is an Installed Option.
1. Press the [Machine Status] button.
2. Touch [Print Reports].
3. Touch [Configuration Report].
4. Touch [Print Selected Report].
5. Touch [Close]
