PROCEDURE:
●Brake fluid
Locate and unplug the rear brake switch connector④ near the side cover bottom.
Break the split pin ① straight and remove it. Remove the gasket ② and remove the pin shaft ③.
Remove the tie⑷ and remove the bolt⑶ with 8# sleeve to remove the main pump assembly of rear disc
brake.
Place the oil pan under the main pump of the rear disc brake.
After wearing waterproof gloves, remove the bolt ⑤ with a cross screwdriver.
Remove the oil cup cover ⑥ and sealant pad ⑦.
Loosen the rear brake switch nut ⑩ with 14# open-ended wrench and drain the brake fluid. Remove the
hoop at the main pump with pliers and pull out the oil pipe. Remove the rear brake switch wire and the
copper washer⑹. Separate rmc-hu oil pipe and rear disc brake main pump body ⑨.
Remove the bolt⑴ with 4# hexagon socket and remove the oil cup and oil pipe.
CAUTION:
●Be sure to disassemble the muffler and engine after they have cooled down completely. The horizontal
support of the vehicle should be fixed before disassembly and assembly work.
●The precautions for brake fluid are described in the previous section.
●It is recommended to replace the two copper washers ⑹ at the same time when replacing the oil pipe, rear
brake switch wire or disc brake main pump.
●The rear brake switch wire is prohibited from rotating the rubber cap at the arrow indication. Replace this
switch wire. Be careful not to wrap the cable around the tool.
