58 Embedded fieldbus
Configuration of the embedded fieldbus (EFB) interface.
See chapter Fieldbus control through the embedded
fieldbus interface (EFB).
NOTE! CANopen and Modbus parameters differ slightly;
for a separate list of the Modbus parameters see
page 370, and for the CANopen parameters see
page 393.
58.01 Protocol enable Enables/disables the embedded fieldbus interface and
selects the protocol to use.

None None (communication disabled). 0
Modbus RTU Embedded fieldbus interface is enabled and uses the
Modbus RTU protocol.

CANopen Embedded fieldbus interface is enabled and uses the
CANopen protocol.

58.02 Protocol ID Displays the protocol ID and revision.
This parameter is read-only.

Protocol ID and revision. 1 = 1
58.03 Node address Defines the node address of the drive on the fieldbus link.
Values 1…247 are allowable. Two devices with the same
address are not allowed on-line.
Changes to this parameter take effect after the control unit
is rebooted or the new settings validated by parameter
58.06 Communication control (Refresh settings).
Note: If parameter 58.01 = [3] CANopen, the name of this
parameter, 58.03 is Node ID (see below).

0…255 Node address (values 1…247 are allowed). 1 = 1
58.03 Node ID Defines the node address for the drive on the CANopen
bus.
Values 1…127 are allowable. Two devices with the same
address are not allowed on-line.
Changes to this parameter take effect after the control unit
is rebooted or the new settings are validated by parameter
58.06 Communication control (Refresh settings).
Note: If 58.01 = [1] Modbus RTU, the name of this
parameter 58.03 is Node address (see above).
