7.1.2 Time zone
The time-zone setting species the constant that is added to UTC time to display the local time. The value can be modied in
steps of 30 minutes. The value for Central European Time (CET) is +1:00 hour.
In order to make the setting, select OK g Settings g Clock g Time zone
The active time-zone setting will be displayed:

Use the cursor key or to select the required value for the constant. Press OK. The new setting will be saved.
7.1.3 Daylight saving time
This function is used to make the setting for switching between daylight saving time (summertime) and standard time (winter-
time). There are two settings for switching between daylight saving time and standard time:
AUTO The tachograph automatically switches between daylight saving time and standard time on the last Sunday in March
and the last Sunday in October.
OFF Standard time is permanently activated.
In order to make the setting, select OK g Settings g Clock g Summertime
The active summertime setting will be displayed:

Use the control keys or to select the new setting for the automatic switching between summertime and standard time and
press OK or press the 9 key to return to the menu.
The xed dierence between UTC time and local time can only be set via the time zone. Whether or not summer time is actively
considered in the calculation of the time is evident on the left side of the display (“active” or “inactive”).
7.1.4 Date format
This function is used to modify the format of the date. Two date formats can be selected:
y DD.MM.YYYY
y DD/MM/YYYY
The abbreviations mean:
y DD = day
y MM = month
y YYYY = year
In order to make the setting, select OK g Settings g Clock g Format date
The current date format setting will be displayed:

Use the cursor key or to select the required setting. Press OK. The new setting will be saved.
