PowerEdge C6420 sled
The PowerEdge C6420 sled is a server unit that is installed into the PowerEdge C6400 enclosure. The sled features dual processors,
memory, a PCIe expansion slot, mezzanine cards, and onboard storage (SD card and M.2 SATA).
Removing a sled
Prerequisites
1 Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
2 Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
NOTE
: The process of removing a sled blank is similar to removing a sled.
Step
Press the retaining latch and using the handle slide the sled out of the enclosure horizontally, ensuring that the sled is supported from
beneath.
