Chapter 22 Calculation
The monitor provides calculation and record function and titration table. Calculations are patient
data that are not directly measured but calculated by the monitor.
The monitor can perform drug calculation, hemodynamic calculation, oxygenation calculation,
ventilation calculation and renal function calculation, and also support record function.
NOTE:
1 The drug calculation function acts only as a calculator. The patient weights in Drug
Dose menu and in Patient Information menu are independent of each other.
Therefore changing the Weight in Drug Dose menu will not change the weight in the
Patient Information menu.
2 The calculation results are for reference only and the calculation significance must be
determined by the physician.
WARNING
The correctness of the input parameters and the suitability of the calculated results
should be carefully verified. EDAN is not liable for any consequences arising from input
or operation errors.
22.1 Drug Calculation
22.1.1 Calculation Procedures
1. The drug calculation window is displayed by selecting Menu > Common Function >
Calculation > Drug Dose.

Select the right pull-down box of the Drug option and select the required drug name among
the 15 drugs which are listed as follows. And the drug name of
Drug A, Drug B, Drug C,
Drug D and Drug E can be defined by the user.

Dobutamine

Heparin
Isuprel
Lidocaine
Nipride
Nitroglycerin
