6 Removing CHARMs hardware
Follow these steps to remove CHARMs hardware from the AMS Asset Monitor.
Note
CHARMs and Terminal Blocks are hot-swappable. It is not necessary to switch off the
system's power supply before installing or removing CHARMs or Terminal Blocks.
CAUTION
Any work on the system may impair asset health monitoring and machine protection.
6.1 Remove a CHARM
Procedure
1. To remove a CHARM from its Terminal Block, push the latch of the Terminal Block
upwards.

A. Latch
B. Terminal Block
C. CHARM
The CHARM is unlocked.
2. Pull the CHARM out of the terminal block to remove it completely.
