Streaks Appear on the Output
Part or the Entire Output Is Black
Problem Action
Streaks appear on the output. The toner cartridges may be low or need to be replaced. Confirm the amount of toner
in each toner cartridge.
1 Check the toner level in the Status Monitor window.
2 Replace the toner cartridges as necessary.
If the problem persists, replace the drum cartridges if you have spare cartridges.

If the problem persists, ensure Output Color is set to Color in the print driver.
Ensure Output Color is set to Color in the print driver. The following procedure uses
the PCL 6 driver as an example.
1 On the Color Options tab, ensure that the Output Color is set to Color.
If the problem persists, replace the drum cartridges if you have spare cartridges.
