HEATER-LESS O2 SENSOR
SUMMARY
This model utilizes a heater-less O2 sensor.
As O
2 sensor does not function properly until it is warmed up, conventional O2 sensor is equipped with a heater.
Heater-less O
2 sensor is located near the exhaust port in order to make use of the heat from the exhaust gas, eliminating
the need for a heater.
When the engine is warmed up to normal operating temperature, heater-less O
2 sensor starts its normal operation.
