If the oil level is below or near the lower level line,
add the recommended oil to the upper level line.
• Other viscosities shown in the chart may be used
when the average temperature in your riding
area is within the indicated range.
Make sure the O-ring is in good condition.
Apply engine oil to the O-ring and install the oil filler
cap/dipstick.
OIL CHANGE
Place the scooter on its centerstand on a level sur-
face.
Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick.
Remove the oil drain bolt and sealing washer, then
drain the engine oil completely.
Replace the sealing washer with new one.
Apply engine oil to the oil drain bolt threads and
seating surface.
Install and tighten the oil drain bolt to the specified
torque.
RECOMMENDED ENGINE OIL:
Honda "4-stroke motorcycle oil" or an equivalent
API service classification: SG or higher (except oils
labeled as energy conserving on the circular API
service label)
Viscosity: SAE 10W-30
JASO T 903 standard: MB
OIL VISCOSITIES
O-RING
OIL FILLER CAP/DIPSTICK
TORQUE: 25 N·m (2.5 kgf·m, 18 lbf·ft)
OIL DRAIN BOLT/
SEALING WASHER
