3. Press and set up the
display as shown opposite.
4. Press on the
oscilloscope.
5. Adjust the Oscilloscope Timebase and
Delay to position the positive peak pulse
amplitude at mid-pulse-width point in the
centre of the screen.
6. Verify the Pulse in Figure 3-1 meets the following criteria:
Pulse Amplitude 2.133V to 2.607V
Pulse Width 639 ns to 781 ns
Overshoot ≤0.474V
Undershoot ≤0.474V

7. Adjust the Oscilloscope Delay to position the negative peak pulse amplitude at
mid-pulse-width point in the centre of the screen and verify that the negative pulse
meets the criteria listed in step 6.

8. Connect the Balanced to Unbalanced Converter between the HP 37717C 120Ω
Balanced SIGNAL OUT port and the Oscilloscope, leaving the 75Ω termination and
"T" connector in place.
