10.2 (Optional) Installing Communications Cable
10.2.1 IP Networking
Procedure
Step 1 Connect the FE port on the site monitoring unit (SMU) by using a network cable.

10.2.2 Wireless Networking
If the power system uses wireless communication, install a 4G antenna.
● The antenna must be installed vertically and must not be too close to cables
nearby.
● The distance between antennas must be greater than or equal to 200 mm. The
distance between the antenna and the wall must be greater than or equal to
100 mm
● The cable bending radius must be greater than 200 mm. After cables are
installed, bind them.
Procedure
Step 1 Install an antenna on the top of the cabinet and connect the other end of the
antenna cable to the ANT port on the GIM.
