The Memory channel contents (frequency, operating
mode, etc.) can be copied to the VFO.
The copy can be performed in either the VFO mode or
the Memory mode.
D Copying in the VFO mode
This is useful for copying programmed contents to a
displayed VFO.
q Push [VFO/MEMO] to select the VFO mode.
w Rotate [M-CH] to select the Memory channel num-
ber to be copied.
•“ ” appears if the selected Memory channel is a
blank channel. In this case nothing can be copied.
e Hold down [VFO/MEMO] for 1 second to copy the
Memory channel contents into the VFO.
•Threebeepssoundwhenthecopyiscomplete.
D Copying in the Memory mode
This is useful for copying the Memory channel con-
tents while operating in the Memory mode.
When you have changed the displayed frequency,
operating mode, etc. in the selected Memory chan-
nel:
•Displayed data is copied.
•Programmed contents in the Memory channel are
not copied, but remain only in the Memory chan-
nel.
q Push [VFO/MEMO] to select the Memory mode.
w Rotate [M-CH] to select the Memory channel to be
copied.
•“ ” appears if the selected Memory channel is a
blank channel. In this case nothing can be copied.
•Setthefrequencyoroperatingmodeifrequired.
