■ Setting the satellite VFO
q Push [SATELLITE] to enter the satellite mode.

ing.

NOTE: To select the operating mode for uplink, push
[SUB] to enable the SUB band setting mode.
■ Tracking selection
q Push [SATELLITE] to enter the satellite mode.

“ ” and either “ ” or “ ” appears.
w Push [NOR/REV](7 3) to toggle between normal
and reverse tracking.
D Normal tracking
Both downlink and uplink frequencies simultaneously
increase or decrease in the same steps when you ro-
tate the [MAIN DIAL].
D Reverse tracking
The downlink frequency follows the tuning dial rota-
tion, however, the uplink frequency changes in the
reverse direction to the [MAIN DIAL] rotation, in the
same steps.

then switches the transceiver to the satellite mode.
If you want to operate in the DR mode after exiting
