6. CARE
WARNING :
To protect against possible personal injury due to abrupt start of the machine, be sure to start the
following work after turning the power o󰀨 and ascertaining that the motor is at rest.
6-1. Cleaning
The cooling fan may not produce a su󰀩cient cooling
e󰀨ect on the sewing machine head if cloth chips, etc.
have gathered in the cooling fan unit that is installed
on the bottom of underside cover.
Clean the cooling fan periodically in order to reduce
heat generation of the hook.
When cloth waste or the like gathers around or ad-
heres to the hook section, trouble (defective sewing,
seizure of hook, etc.) of sewing machine will be
caused. Periodically clean the section.
