Notice that the Recording Log in the Deck Controller window has changed.

15. An elapsed time counter has appeared to the right of Recording Log and an
entry has been added to the Recording Log. In this example the information
indicates:
• The elapsed time (for example) 00h:00m:06s
• The mechanism mode,
the tape position and the
Head Record Current data (for example) REC 028:33:15 C0
16. Continue recording for about 30 seconds.
17. Hold down the Shift key and click the Down Arrow in the Editing window.
Notice the data changes by 10h. Also notice that another entry is added to
the Recording Log. Continue recording for about 30 seconds.
18. Again hold down the Shift key and click the Down Arrow in the Editing
window. Continue recording for about 30 seconds.
19. Repeat the above step two times. There should be five entries in the
Recording Log.
20. Then click the OK button in the Editing window. The Information window
appears.
21. Click the OK button in the Information window.
22. Close the Adjustment Utility window.
23. Open the Inspector window. Select the Error Rate tab.
