STOPPING ENGINE
NOTICE
If the engine is abruptly stopped before it has cooled down, engine life may
be drastically shortened. Do not abruptly stop the engine except for an
emergency.
If the engine has overheated, do not stop it abruptly, run it at medium
speed allowing the engine to gradually cool down, then stop it.
1.
Turn fuel control dial (1) in the low idling (MIN) positions and
run the engine at low idling speed for 5 minutes to allow the
engine to gradually cool down.
2. Turn the key in ignition switch (2) to the OFF position.
The engine will stop.

Remove the key from ignition switch (2).
