18.2 Motorcycle traction control (MTC)

The motorcycle traction control (MTC) reduces the engine torque
in case of loss of traction on the rear wheel.
Info
When motorcycle traction control is switched off, the rear
wheel may spin during high acceleration and on surfaces
with low grip.
After the ignition is switched on, the motorcycle traction
control is reactivated.
The motorcycle traction control is operated through the
"Drive Mode" ( p. 226) menu on the combination instrument.
The motorcycle traction control can be switched off in
the "MTC/ABS" menu.

When motorcycle traction control is active, the TC indicator
lamp flashes.
When motorcycle traction control is switched off, the TC
indicator lamp lights up.
