30.1 Red symbols
Red symbols indicate an error condition that requires immediate intervention.
The immobilizer indicator lamp lights up or flashes red – Status or error message for immobi-
lizer/alarm system.
The oil pressure warning lamp lights up red – Engine oil pressure is too low. Stop immedi-
ately, taking care not to endanger yourself or other road users in the process, and switch off
the engine.
30.2 Yellow and orange symbols
Yellow and orange symbols indicate an error condition that requires prompt intervention. Active driving aids are
also represented by yellow or orange symbols.
The general warning lamp lights up yellow – An operating safety (warning note) message was
detected. This is also shown on the matrix display.
Malfunction indicator lamp lights up/flashes yellow – The engine electronics control unit has
detected a fault.
ABS indicator lamp lights up/flashes yellow – The ABS is not active. The ABS indicator lamp
also lights up if an error is detected.
TC indicator lamp lights up/flashes yellow – The motorcycle traction control is not enabled or
is currently intervening. The TC Indicator lamp also lights up if an error is detected. In addi-
tion, the TC indicator lamp flashes if the HHC (optional) is active.
