Diagnostic Tools
Cable Diagnostics
DIFFERENCE: This tool is available in case of TPS ports only.
The cable diagnostics is a useful tool to determine any cable related issues in case of TPS connection.
The estimated cable length and the quality of the link are measured periodically and the diagnostic window
the number of the errors – during the extension – is higher than recommended. The link might be alive but
recovering of the received data is not guaranteed.
INFO: Each bar represents a differential line in the CATx cable. The inappropriate termination of the cable
usually causes high error rates. Check the cable terminations or change the cable. #diagnostic
