The Warning box indicates that the described activity or situation may, or will, cause equipment
damage, loss of data, or serious performance problems. It identifies a possible equipment-
damaging situation or provides essential information to avoid the degradation of system operations
or data.
Do not proceed beyond a warning until the indicated conditions are fully understood and met.
The following is an example of the Caution box.

The Note box provides information that assists the personnel working with devices. It does not
provide safety-related instructions.
4.2.2 Safety-related labels
The customer premises equipment is labeled with specific safety compliance information and
instructions that are related to a variant of the CPE. Observe the instructions on the safety labels.
The following table provides examples of the text in the various CPE safety labels.
