Explain the response after compulsiveinitialization is performed with troubleoccurred in
Flash.

and the network and fax would not be available.

It is necessary to write above Firmware and data into Flash by the maintenance
utility.
Note! Do not carry it out usually.
7.5.8 Copy Image Abnormality Error Troubleshooting
• When the following symptom occurs in the copy image, implement the inspection and
adjustmentofthecopyimage.
Line appears on the copy image.
Color of the copy image becomes slightly thin.
Color of the copy image becomes dark.
Color of the copy image becomes abnormal.
Print position of the copy image is shifted.

Slide caliper gauge or scale (JIS 1st class product)

PC (PC scan should be possible.)
Scannerinspectionandadjustmenttool
USB cables : 1 cable (Compliant with Rev. 2.0)
1. Identifying the problem.
Perform section7.5.3."AbnormalImageTroubleshooting" toidentifywhetherthe
problem is located in the printer or in the scanner.
If the cause of the problem is in the scanner, go to the next item.
2. Cleaning
Performsections 6.6"CleaningRollers intheADF",6.7 "CleaningtheDocument
Glass"respectively.
If the cleaning cannot solve the problem, go to the next item.
3. Copy image quality inspection
Make copies and check whether the problem has been solved.
If it has been solved, finish the inspection.
If it remains unsolved, go to the next secton.
