Procedure to Change the Model of the Safety Control Unit
After you create the Controller configuration, you can change the model or unit version of the Safety
Control Unit
without changing the saved settings information.
Use the following procedure to change the
Safety CPU Unit. You can also change the model of a
Safety I/O Unit with essentially the same procedure.
1 Display the Slave Terminal Tab Page for the CPU Rack or Slave Terminal where the Safety
CPU Unit to change is located.
2 Right-click the Safety CPU Unit to change and select Change Model.
The Change Model Dialog Box is displayed.
