System Time-outs and Settings8.6
System settings include:
• System motor time-outs
• Sleep mode time-out
• Soft off mode time-out
System Time-outs
The system time-outs are defined as follows:
The period of time the system waits for an envelope after pressing
. Once this time-out is reached the system stops.
Start
The period of time the system waits for the next envelope after printing.
Once this time-out is reached, the system will stop.
Stop
Period of inactivity after which the system automatically switches to
'Sleep' mode (see Power Management on page 26).
Sleep
Period of inactivity after which the system automatically turns to 'Soft
off' mode (see Power Management on page 26).
Soft off
You can set a long Stop time-out to have time to feed the hopper
before the machine stops.
