ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION
Start by attaching the bracket (2) to the engine wall (1) using suitable bolts (not included
in the delivery) and torque as shown in the figure below, or to the mounting holes
provided for this purpose according to the customer drawing.
Then mount the oil mist detector (3) on the pre-assembled, engine-specific bracket in
accordance with the supplied mounting kit (3) and customer drawing, as shown in the
figure below.
The recommended side for mounting on the engine is opposite to the side of
the explosion protection valves.

Premature contamination of the oil mist detector
The allowed assembly tolerance is +/- 3 degrees deviation from the horizontal
alignment.
