2.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingdeck,andshutoff
theengine.
3.Loosenboththejamnutsthatsecuretheneutralsensortotheneutralend
plate.
4.Adjustthelocationoftheneutralsensorasfollows:
A.TurnthekeyswitchtotheRUNposition.
B.Manuallymovethesensortowardstheneutralarmandadjusttherear
jamnutuntiltheLEDonthecableendofthetractionneutralsensoris
notilluminated.
C.RotatetherearjamnutintheoppositedirectionuntiltheLEDilluminates.
Continuetorotatetherearjamnut1fullturn.
D.Tightenthefrontjamnuttosecurethesensor.Ensurethatthesensor
positiondoesnotchange.Torquethejamnutto18.4to22.4N∙m(162to
198in-lb).
IMPORTANT
Topreventthetractionneutralsensordamage,ensurethatthe
sensordoesnotcontactanymachinecomponentsduringthe
tractionpedalmovement.
5.Afteradjustmenttothetractionneutralsensor,usetheInfoCenterdisplay
toverifythatthetractionneutralsensorandcircuitwiringarefunctioning
correctly;refertoUsingtheInfoCenterDisplayforTroubleshooting(page
5–30).
