Print or clear the stored files and data
at the printer memory.
Does the error still occur when
scanning?

2 Check the setting at Defaults Settings
> Scan Defaults… > Resolution.
Is it set to 600 x 600?

3 Check the setting at Defaults Settings
> Scan Defaults… > Color.
