REP 1.18 Duplex Paper Guide

Removal
1. Switch Off the Printer and unplug the Power Cord.
2. Remove the Paper Cassette.
3. Remove the following covers:
a. Remove the Left and Right Side Covers (REP 1.2).
b. Remove the Rear Cover (REP 1.4).
NOTE: The Rear Cover holds the Duplex Paper Guide Pivot in the frame cutout. With the
Rear Cover removed, the paper guide will come out of the pivot when the front latches are
released.
4. Remove the Duplex Paper Guide (Figure).
a. From the front of the printer press the Duplex Paper Guide release tabs (2) (Figure
1).
b. From the rear of the printer slide the Duplex Paper Guide off the pivots to remove it
(Figure 2).

Replacement
Install the components in the reverse of removal.
1. Insert the pivot on the left side into the hole.
2. Insert the right pivot into the frame cutout.
3. Lift and latch the front of the Duplex Paper Guide into position (Figure).
