3 PRECAUTIONS FOR THE ENGINE
• It is vital that you respect a running in period for the machine during the first hundred hours
of service (read the time counter). During this period, the machine must not be used with an ex-
cessive load, even though it has been correctly prepared and checked before despatch. Otherwise
there is a risk that its performance will be affected and its life span shortened.
• When running in the machine, make sure to :
– Preheat the engine by running it on idle for 5 minutes after starting it.
– Do not run the machine with a heavy load or at a high speed.
– Do not start, accelerate or stop the engine suddenly.
– Do not change direction too suddenly.
Note
Observe these precautions throughout the life of the machine in order to preserve the
good condition of the engine.
