9.6 Voice Menu Guidance
The FXS voice menu can be used to query a current firmware version and query or modify
basic network configuration parameters, using a standard touch-tone telephone connected
to one of the FXS ports.
9.6.1 Configuring Voice Menu
Voice Menu can be configured for through the Web interface or the CLI.
9.6.1.1 Configuring Voice Menu through the Web Interface
To configure Voice Menu through the Web Interface:
1. In the ‘Voice over IP’ screen click on ‘Services’ tab
2. Under ‘Voice Menu’ section Select ‘Enabled’ option to enable the Voice Menu feature.
3. Set Password – this allows to modify WAN Ethernet network settings using Voice
Menu (Admin level)
4. Click OK

9.6.1.2 Configuring Voice Menu through the CLI
To configure Voice Menu through the CLI:
1. Open a Telnet connection to the MP-20x device (Default: telnet 192.168.2.1)
2. Log in with administrator privileges (Default: admin/admin)
3. Run the following commands under the MP20x> prompt:
conf set /voip/services/voice_menu/enabled 1
conf set_obscure voip/services/voice_menu/password <password>
conf reconf 1
